Dunstone Country Estate, a space born from a deep passion for art, antiques and timeless beauty. Founded by Maudie Marie Smit and Dirk Vaeye, the gallery embodies their shared love for art, antiques and retro treasures.  The gallery’s inaugural exhibition “Roots”, showcases works from renowned South-African artists and explores the theme of the Earth’s roots-a celebration of nature’s connection to humanity.

The A.R.T Gallery is more than just a gallery; it’s an immersive experience. Visitors are invited to explore the A.R.T Walk, an extension of the exhibition that reflects the organic flow of nature, bringing art and the landscape together in harmony. The collaboration between Maudie and Dirk, both with a strong appreciation for historical and artistic value, has resulted in a carefully curated collection that invites visitors to see the world in new ways.

Maudie’s broader vision is to promote conscious living by merging antiques and art with sustainability. The gallery features a curated selection of items made from recycled and organic materials, blending history with contemporary design.  These pieces not only tells a story but align with a modern aesthetic that values character and sustainability in personal spaces, including the growing trend of unique, globally inspired workspaces.
