Walk your dog with us at Dunstone and raise funds for SPCA Wellington
You may have noticed that at Dunstone Country Estate, we have a bit of a thing for animals! From our estate logo and wine label that proudly display a portrait of our first pooch, Shiraz, to the many adopted farm animals that romp around the estate and delight guests daily with their antics.
For this reason, we’ve teamed up with Wellington SPCA to launch a regular Dunstone Dog Walk on the estate and neighbouring farms. Please join us on Saturday 30th March from 9h30 for our inaugural event, an easy 4km circular farm walk with your own dog, followed by a well-deserved egg and bacon roosterkoek breakfast roll, served with a hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
We’ll also be holding a raffle after the walk, where you could win our top prize of one night for up to 4 people and 2 dogs at our pet friendly 4* farm accommodation, The Guava Cottage, as well as wine cases and meal vouchers for our bistro, The Stone Kitchen.
Adding to the atmosphere will be solo artist Deon Valor on acoustic guitar, serenading our walkers at the finish line.
Ticket prices for the Dunstone Dog Walk, which include your breakfast roll and hot drink cost R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12, with proceeds going directly to SPCA Wellington. Walkers without dogs are most welcome to join and entry fee remains the same.
All participating dogs should wear a collar and be kept on a leash for the full duration of the walk.
